Posta Grounds in Kanduyi, Bungoma County

Today, at Posta Grounds in Kanduyi, Bungoma County, speaker of the National assembly .Hon. Moses masika wetangula affirmed his support for President William Ruto’s re-election, recognizing his commitment to fair resource distribution and transformative projects nationwide.

In Bungoma alone, the county of Bungoma has seen a new passport center, Masinde Muliro International Stadium, and the upgrade of Kisiwa and Sang’alo Polytechnics to a National Polytechnics. Soon, Bungoma County Referral Hospital will become a Level Six facility, backed by Ksh 8 billion from the African Development Bank.
He again defended the planned leasing of Nzoia Sugar Factory, which will ensure farmers are paid promptly, and highlighted how subsidized fertilizer has raised maize production to an expected 185 million bags this year. The government has also set aside Ksh 450 million to begin works on the Limuru–Malaba dual carriageway.
He continued to dismiss calls by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua urging Kenyans abroad to stop remitting money. Diaspora remittances, nearly Ksh 400 billion support families, build homes, and stabilize our forex reserves.
He furthermore urged Kenyans abroad to keep investing back home and ask our people to be patient as the President fulfils his pledges.

The time has come to thoughtfully and openly address the growing concern of clannism within the  Bukusu community , a prominent sub-tribe of the larger  Luhya nation . As one of the most diverse and widespread groups in Western Kenya, the Bukusu people currently comprise over 139 distinct clans. Their traditional and cultural heartland lies in  Bungoma County , which continues to serve as the central hub for the community. However, Bukusus are also significantly present in other counties such as Trans Nzoia ,  Kakamega ,  Busia , and  Vihiga .
