William Ruto suggests Uhuru-Raila BBI will suffer same fate as Punguza Mizigo Bill 
- Ruto warned Kenyans will not accept amendment of the constitution through boardroom and hotel meetings - The DP advised leaders pushing for the Building Bridges Initiative to learn from Ekuru Auko's Punguza Mizigo Bill - The BBI was hatched by Uhuru and Raila following the March 2018 handshake post the chaotic and divisive 2017 polls - The two political heavyweights believe it will address many of the challenges that have been bedeviling Kenya Deputy President William Ruto has poured cold water on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) being advocated for by his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

Ruto claimed the proposed amendment was being fronted by political leaders who lost in the 2017 General Election and were now trying to create new positions in government so they can be accommodated. "It cannot be that after every election we want to change the constitution to favour those who did not win. We cannot be just talking about leaders alone year in year out. We need to focus on how to upgrade the lives of akina Wanjiku and Nafula (ordinary Kenyans)," he said in an apparent veiled attack on Raila.

Uhuru secret team to fix succession by 2022 Eager not to fall into the same trap as that of his mentor Daniel Moi and predecessor Mwai Kibaki where their preferred presidential candidates were beaten hands down, Uhuru Kenyatta has formed a special team to advise him on his succession.    In the wide golden plains of the Sitikho location,milo sublocation near mount Elgon, there lived a lion named  Etalang'i . He was known for his heart of a lion — fearless and noble. The time has come to thoughtfully and openly address the growing concern of clannism within the  Bukusu community , a prominent sub-tribe of the larger  Luhya nation . As one of the most diverse and widespread groups in Western Kenya, the Bukusu people currently comprise over 139 distinct clans. Their traditional and cultural heartland lies in  Bungoma County , which continues to serve as the central hub for the community. However, Bukusus are also significantly present in other counties such as Trans Nzoia ,  Kakamega ,  Busia , and  Vihiga . Moreover, in pursuit of better opportunities and livelihoods, many have migrated to urban centers across the country.
